About the Illustrator

Hannah Lane Romero is a children's illustrator and fine artist who grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She started painting sunflowers at age 5 and now holds a BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has traveled all over Europe and much of the U.S. with a a sketchbook and paints close by. A Frog Named Dude is her second children's book and close to her heart as she was connected to Kristy through a special mutual friend. Hannah lives in Louisina and spends her days doing what she loves best, making pictures.
