KC Marks II

KC MARKS II

Energetic personality, remarkable talent, and everlasting love are only a few words that come to mind when describing KC.  He loved to laugh, he loved his friends and he loved to have fun!  He always wanted to do something to get himself noticed.  Those of you who knew him know how true that statement is!  His blue eyes could light up a room and his personality was nothing quiet!

KC was born on May 14, 1977 to Ken and Gayle Marks.  At the time his sister Kristy was 9 years old.  He was joined 22 months later by his brother Kyle.

His life was cut short December 24, 1995 when he was killed in an automobile accident.  He suffered severe head trauma and was declared brain dead.  He gave the ultimate gift on Christmas Day to many waiting persons by donating his organs.

This precious story was found in July 2007 by his sister Kristy and his Mom Gayle.  It was written by KC when he was 9 years old.  It was a Mother’s Day gift to his Mom written in his creative writing class.  The story is so like KC, funny and lighthearted!

The book evolved as a labor of love.  Kristy contacted Hannah and pitched her idea and Hannah eagerly agreed to join the project.  As the project developed Kristy and Hannah agreed that this was not going to be just a gift, but was destined to be something more….

A treasured book to be enjoyed by people of all ages!
